New beginnings

Wow! So excited to get my new website out there. Take a look around, I hope you like it. What a strange year, but the power of music has helped to lift our spirits. It’s been a joy to sing to care home residents with the charity ‘Kissing it Better’, performing ‘outside the window’ and seeing the smiles on the faces as they join in with the songs of yesteryear.

…and 2020 brought my first electronic dance music success, with Italian producer Danny Darko. Our collaboration ’50 Shades of Blue’, where I wrote the melody and lyrics to Danny’s dance track went really well. Can’t tell you how chuffed I was when it made it to number 23 in Beatport Dance Top 100, it also provided the anthem to our summer of lockdown…..and even better, we’ve just followed this collab with a Top 10 cover of Summertime Sadness’, Lana Del Rey’s classic….check it out.

So now, I’m starting to look forward to Christmas. I’ve been working with the amazing pianist Will Harrison and we’ve been writing some beautiful songs together. Watch this space for our song for Christmas in this the strangest of years……and in the New Year, we’re starting with a bang with our new single ‘Send in The Fireflies’ out on December 11th.
